Creative Beach clean up in Bat Yam!

November 29, 2009

Zalul has a beach clean up with the Moshe Sharett School in Bat Yam on November 23, 2009.

Zalul teamed up with the Moshe Sharett School in Bat Yam for a special project on November 23rd. Aside from a great beach clean up at Tayo Beach in Bat Yam, the children put on a show with presentations they had prepared for weeks. The enthusiasm was remarkable as the children held signs and posters about the importance of keeping the sea clean, chanted environmental cheers, and wore hats they made out of newspaper. Teachers, parents, and Zalul staff participated in the fun, wore hats, and chanted too.

This was a great way to not only clean Tayo Beach, but educate the children by giving them a hands-on and fun experience of environmental activism and teach them about Zalul and how we help.
