Zalul in the Community: Raising a new generation of activists
Yesterday Shahar Brinenberg, Zalul’s Mediterranean Sea Project Coordinator, paid a visit to a younger set of ears. The eager listeners learned all about Zalul’s work and also had a chance to hear about ways they could help keep our seas and rivers clean.
Outreach is a huge part of Zalul’s work. The more we all know about the pollution affecting our favorite beach, fishing hole, or the river by which we like to picnic, the more inspired we will be to speak out against their destruction.
Seeing students from the Rishon L’Zion Art School keenly interested in these issues makes us proud and hopeful that their generation will continue our fight for clean water in the decades to come.
