Zalul at Tel Aviv’s Live Earth event in Rabin Square

Live Earth Concert in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv, ISRAEL – Live Earth, a 24-hour, 7-continent concert will bring together more than 150 music artists and 2 billion people to inspire a global movement to “Answer the Call” and combat the climate crisis.

Some of the greatest musicians in the world will perform, including: Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, and the Police. The event will be broadcasted on 120 television stations in the world, including Channel 10 in Israel and on the big screen in Rabin Square.

The event aims to spread the word about climate change, global warming, and saving energy. As part of the event, a green happening will take place in Rabin Square around the climate crisis and available solutions.

Friday, July 6 from 10:00 to 16:00:
Green Exhibition and Ideas Market: A huge organic food market, clothing stands, jewelry and accessories, clothes and other items from organic materials, an exhibit of ecological movies in a special exhibit in the square, concerts and art activities for children, a yoga station, and more.

Saturday, July 7 from 18:00 to 23:00:
Live broadcast of the Live Earth concert on Channel 10 on a huge screen in Rabin Square.

The performers: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Roger Waters, Black Eyed Peas, Genesis, John Mayer, Smashing Pumpkins, The Police, Ludacris, Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy, Bon Jovi, Beastie Boys, Duran Duran, and many more.

Local artists will also perform at the Square, including: Mosh Ben Ari, Shotei Hanevua, Tipp-Ex, Efrat Gosh, Din Din Aviv, Hadag Nachash, and more.

Join Zalul for these two days of action. Visit us at our booth to learn about how climate change is affecting Israel’s rivers and seas and get a popsicle to keep you cool in the heat.
